1996 F1 Season Review

The 1996 Formula One championship was a make or break season for Damon Hill after a disastrous 1995 campaign and new Canadian team mate Jacques Villeneuve was set to make him work hard for his first world title.

After five seasons with the Benetton team Michael Schumacher was looking for a fresh challenge and found that challenge at Ferrari alongside Eddie Irvine who had come from Jordan.

Without Ferrari drives Jean Alesi and Gerhard Berger both moved to Benetton which was to prove difficult for Alesi after relationships with Flavio Briatore soured quickly.

1994 F1 Season Review

The 1994 F1 Season commenced on March 27th 1994 and ended on November 13th 1994 with a total of 16 Grand Prix races completed.

The 1994 Formula One season will forever be remembered as one of the most tragic and controversial seasons in F1 history. Despite the off track politics the ’94 season was also one of the closest with just a single point splitting Michael Schumacher and Damon Hill. A collision between Hill and Schumacher settled the drivers championship at the final race in Aderlaide, Australia.

Alain Prost -  1993 Word Champion for Williams F1

The 1993 Formula One season was the 44th championship. It started on March 14th 1993 ending on November 7th and comprised of sixteen races.

Alain Prost returned from a sabbatical to help Williams take their second consecutive constructors title and in turn his fourth and final drivers championship. Prost had sat out 1992 after he was fired from Ferrari after likening it to “a truck”.
